Designed with the user in mind, the Eos is optimal for both localised needs and spotting at a distance. The combination of a Luxeon/1 watt LED and the Princeton Tec designed optimised lens/collimator maximises the beam by balancing long throw with flood light. The Eos Headlamp is equipped with a Luxeon LED diode outputting a huge 1 watt of power and making it an incredible 10 -20 times brighter than a normal LED.& Intelligent circuitry allows the
operator to decide between four different operating modes on one switch.
The lens design is based on a collimator system whereby light is
reflected in a precise direction giving a sharp clear spot rather than a general
blanket cover. Recognizing that various conditions may need different levels of
light, the unit can be switched between three levels of brightness. The Eos
employs an electrical switch that provides four operating modes for the Luxeon
LED. From the off state pressing and releasing the switch will start the light
in high power mode. Additional button presses within two seconds of the previous
button press will select medium power, low power, flash and off in that
order. Regardless of the selected operating mode, the Eos will turn off with the
next button press if more than three seconds have elapsed since the last mode
was selected.
Powered by just three AAA batteries the headlamp is of a sturdy
professional construction and comes with a manufacturers lifetime warranty. A
comfortable elastic head strap with full adjustments is pr-fitted to the
headlamp unit. A professional unit that will last for years.
